EarthWerks offers three different product warranties:

1. 20 year warranty

2. 30 year warranty

3. Lifetime warranty

These warranties are for residential use and are for the wear warranty of their products. Similar to all product warranties, as a customer, you need to read the fine print to make sure you understand what is covered, and what is not covered.

Similar to all types of luxury vinyl tile & plank flooring, EarthWerks products will be very easy to clean and maintain.

One of the reasons vinyl tile & plank flooring has become so popular, is due to the ease of the care and maintenance required. Vinyl tile and plank can go in any room of the home and does not absorb dirt and dust like carpet.

While luxury vinyl tile and plank is extremely durable and easy to maintain, you want to make sure you adhere to the product warranty in regard to best practices on maintenance. For example, EarthWerks requests:

• Use hard plastic or felt pads under heavy furniture to prevent point loads. Use flat, polished metal glides with a minimum 1” diameter under chairs and stools. These should have a rounded edge and pivot to remain in flat contact with the floor. Non-staining felt pads can be used, provided they are changed on a regular basis to prevent dirt, debris and sand build-up. Wide, non-staining casters at least 2” in diameter or floor protectors should be used on rolling furniture such as office chairs.

• Furniture polish and window cleaning agents should be applied to a cloth to avoid spillage onto the floor. Contact with some agents, such as silicone, will make the floor surface extremely slippery, which may result in accidents. Regular cleaning is more beneficial to the floorcovering and more cost effective than occasional heavy cleaning.

The EarthWerks product line has a very good selection of wood-looking plank products. Their vinyl tile line is short on colors and is not the best option for customers looking for a tile look.

EarthWerks products come with a variety click together, loose lay and glue down installation methods. With many of their products, they also offer a commercial warranty, ranging from a 10-20 year light commercial to full commercial warranty. For products that come with commercial warranties, they offer great durability at a great price.

EarthWerks price points are in the middle of the pack, as compared to other vinyl tile and plank products. You can certainly find cheaper products, but we feel if you find a color/style you like within the EarthWerks products, you will get a great product at a very reasonable price point.
